As a seller of phones I can confirm this is the most common fault on the
2150 and it is quite a common one.
There is no logic to it, no pattern all I have come up with so far is either
electromagnetic interference or a glitch with power supply. I have replaced
phones for customers and had the faulty one on test for a few weeks with no
issues I then give it to a friend to test and bang it starts again.
Its my only problem phone in the current range (although it has now been
replaced so I am at least happy).
