Some of the comments are correct from all quarters. It is true that with the
amount of rain a twelve hour forecast is often wrong for specific locations,
as in the current case for the SE. But they have at least said it would be
tricky this time. Unfortunately I have learned that you will never get a new
forecast starting with "much less rain than predicted yesterday" so like
them, just move forward and forget it! As Jon often points out, it is an
unpredictable Science, sometimes.
Rely on Murphy's Law as related to weather, the more you want or don't want
a particular type of weather the more likely it is to happen. Much more
reliable in my experience!
