If you snip all of the context, you'll end up looking like a prat.

Substandard fruit is a small proportion of the total waste, and it's not
possible to do much with it. It should not be used for food - do you
really want food to be made from rotten ingredients? It cannot be
composted (if you know what an olive looks like, you will realise why)
nor can it burned - it's too wet and will putrefy before it dries.
