Move 30 miles away from the ward you represent.
Be unemployed/on-the-sick (Lib-Dem selection requirement)
Learn how to speak out your arse.
Have a much greater belief in your abilites, then everyone else.
Be able to convincingly blame the Government for all the shortcomings (if
not Labour) and, if Labour, blame the local council.
