Far out! The OED defines it as "That part of zoology which treats of
reptiles" --- is this wider scope a recent change?

But please respect the traditional rule of thumb that "X has feathers
IFF X is a bird".

hmmmm: sounds like the same DLL hell problem my cousin had. try
