I use a Kowa 60mm scope which is lighter and with the ED glass gives and
exceptionally bright image for the size of the objective using a 27X
wide angle eyepiece. In good light I sometimes use a 40X eyepiece which
is quite effective on reservoirs when looking at something on the far
side. It is also obsolete as Kowa have replaced it with a 66mm
waterproof model. Mine isn't waterproof but I protect it using a case
and I have not had any damp problems.

Fair weather only in my opinion

Try looking on Ebay or a similar auction site - or a dealer in
second-hand optics.
