No, I do not get the altserver effect of I create a queue called
TEST. To make exta sure I added a line into that GROUPS.INI section
to Override the default server and it does do that for my queues with
QW in the name but not for others.

Yes I do have Onloaded in XNEWS.INI. It says:
OnLoaded=acvRemoveFilter,acaNextSCore,acvSwitchView
Maybe the "switchview" is doing it. I will experiment.
If that is doing it then I can see that GROUPS.INI does not allow me
to overrride it. :-(

I adjusted this and found that with it in or out it makes no
difference to my problem. Then I reset it and also reset the
Onloaded in XNEWS.INI and I found that binary groups now load with a
split screen and queues with QW load with a full screen empty viewer.
They were always the same.
I am going to have to work throught it all again. :-(
