Oh please. Ego has nothing to do with it. He's an established star and
has a certain value, which I'm betting is being paid just fine by the
makers of The Practice (now Boston Legal). Why wouldn't any person,
ego-aside, ask for their fair market value? Enterprise either pays or
doesn't. It's a business decision.
Any one of use would do the same, and more to the point *does* do the
same in our own careers. Or are you in the habit of turning down pay
raises when offered?
