No, I didnot blow the MRF245(trust me, I am way smarter than that), In fact
I have not built a circuit yet to put that transistor in. I blew the cap
when I had it hooked up to 15W PA output of a different amp.(a whole another
story...)
I thought that MRF245 needs a higher drive level somewhere between 15-20
Watts. Thats what is said in my ECG component book. You are saying that all
it needs is 8W, which is perfect, because my drive level is 7 Watts.
