Hi Angus,

About "Kermit preconceptions" of July 24:

On July 23 you were "just curious" and asked if anyone out there is
an old kermit user. The next day, you wrote that i was in a "crusade to
resurrect the Kermit protocol" because my justifications weren't reasons
enough for you!!! After i pointed you to archives and dates you replied
that you didn't care; then, you shared your expertise stating that this
protocol has been obsolete for over a decade... Finally, the conclusion
was formulated as if i needed everyone to convert back to DOS BBSing!...

Well, i don't suppose you cared to read `misc.20021006-20030409' at
ftp://kermit.columbia.edu/kermit/newsgroups/ neither because if you did,
euh... i wouldn't have to serve you this quote of the author right now:

JRD> The latest source is for MSK v3.16 beta, found on netlab1.usu.edu.
JRD> That will be the 1997 material. A slightly changed later edition
JRD> is avaiable upon request; it is flying on the Space Station.

     `MS-Kermit v3.16 BETA 12 NASA' exists, i use it myself but i didn't
know its history before i came across that information yesterday... The
question i return to you is this:  what background makes you so special;
special enough to judge motives, or what protocols are worth for?! %-b,

Mouha! Ha! Ha! I won't be surprised should you declare from your
pedestal that the Challenger accident was actually caused by `Kermit'!!!

                                0 0,

                                   >

                                ` ___ '
                                 \___/

Oh! Oh! Oh! Of course, you may argue the NASA hires morons only!

                                                           Salutations,

                                                           Michel Samson
