I agree. I'd like ot see a t4ial transcript to see what else was
presented. In any event, it would be a far harsher punishment to keep
this guy alive and in a cage for the remainder of his natural life while
every day he has to remember what he did.

The guilty verdict isn't the basis for execution in Texas. He was found
worthy of the death penalty in the punishment phase.

Perhaps he had violent episodes which did not result in arrests. Who knows?
BTW, this qualified for capital murder on a couple of points. Not only
the murder of a child under six years of age, but multiple murder as well.

How about locking him up for three consecutive life terms? That way he
could get parole in 120 yeas.
