John Bradley (Perry's appointee to head Texas's Death Panel) announced today
that he has has postponed further inquiry into a recent botched execution
until after he and the other new appointees re-write the rules for the
committee.
Calling the existing rules "unfair", he said more must be done to ensure the
secrecy of the panel's findings.
This secrecy, according to the Republicans, is necessary in light of the
recent disclosure of information proving that the executed man was in fact
innocent of the crime.
Judge Bradley is also serving as a prosecutor in Williamson County - a
tribal village with a zealously religious and anti-government culture.
